The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year — a sacred pause in the natural cycle when darkness reaches its peak and the light slowly begins to return. Across many cultures, this time has been honored as a moment for reflection, release, and conscious renewal.
One powerful tradition you may want to explore this season is the 12 Nights Winter Solstice Ritual, a simple yet deeply meaningful practice that blends surrender with intentional creation.
Instructions for the Ritual Work:
On December 21st (the Winter Solstice), take time to sit quietly and write down 12 wishes/intentions for the year ahead. These wishes can reflect anything that feels important to you — hopes, dreams, healing, growth, relationships, creativity, or the way you want to feel in the coming year. On years where the Solstice falls on the 22nd, you will have to adjust by 1.
Fold each wish and place them somewhere special.
Then, beginning the night of the Solstice and continuing for the next 11 nights, you’ll do the following:
-
Each evening, randomly choose one wish
-
Without looking at it, burn it safely (or tear it up if fire isn’t accessible)
-
As it burns, consciously release control, trusting that what is meant to unfold will do so
You do this for 11 nights, all the way through New Year’s Eve.
The 12th and final wish is not burned. This is the wish you keep — the one you commit to actively nurturing and bringing into form through your own choices, actions, and presence in the year ahead.
This practice beautifully reflects the deeper wisdom of manifestation. It reminds us that some things in life ask for trust and surrender, while others require our conscious participation. True transformation often unfolds when we learn to recognize the difference between what we are meant to release and what we are meant to actively nurture.
Last year, my remaining wish was to focus more deeply on CE-5 work in 2025 — and what followed has been nothing short of remarkable. This year has brought more UAP sightings than ever before for us, truly our most extraordinary year yet. From personal experience, I can say this ritual has a powerful way of aligning intention with outcome.
The Winter Solstice invites us to let go of what no longer serves us, to honor the lessons of the past year, and to plant intentional seeds during the quiet, inward energy of winter. In this stillness, clarity begins to form. As the light slowly returns, so does our ability to see what truly matters.
You are not forcing the future into existence — you are co-creating with it.
May these darkest days offer you space for reflection, and may the year ahead meet you with exactly what you need for growth, healing, and expansion. 🌑✨
