Created for my son Samuel, who has a special love for foxes, Vulpes Divinus is a celebration of these beautiful creatures and the spiritual symbolism they carry.
The fox is often associated with intelligence, adaptability, curiosity, and intuition. In various spiritual traditions and folklore, foxes are portrayed as clever guides, tricksters, and mysterious beings that move between the familiar and the unknown. Their energy reminds us to trust our instincts, remain curious, and find our way through life’s challenges with creativity and grace.
In this painting, the fox sits peacefully, its vibrant orange fur contrasting with geometric shades of purple. A delicate golden halo surrounds its head, honoring the sacredness of the natural world and the quiet wisdom we can discover through our connection with animals. The Divine Fox is both a personal tribute to my son’s love of foxes and an invitation to recognize the extraordinary spirit within the creatures that share our world.
